Book of the Month: Where Good Ideas Come From

April’s book of the month is Where Good Ideas Come From: The Natural History of Innovation by Steven Johnson.

Everything we see around us began as just an idea in someone’s mind.  But how do innovative ideas form in the first place? What type of environmental factors are at play?  Do most innovative ideas come about all at once — or slowly, over time? Does pure chance and/or serendipity have a role?

Johnson reviews innovations past and present and points out similarities among them.  Whether you are seeking to develop a more entrepreneurial mindset or promote innovation within your business, Where Good Ideas Come From is a must-read.
